Hi, I am Mandy Martin

Let's get to know each other

A series of black and white photos showing a person in dark clothing embracing a fluffy white dog.
How I work

I believe the best photographs happen when people stop trying to look good and start just being themselves. My job is to create the conditions for that — to slow things down, to find the light, to let a session breathe.

I keep my bookings intentionally limited. Not because I'm precious about it, but because I genuinely care about the experience — yours and mine. I want to be fully present for your session, your edit, and the moment you see your images for the first time.

A little more about me

I live and work on the Gold Coast, and the beach has always been my favourite backdrop, the quality of light here, especially in the late afternoon, is extraordinary. I've photographed hundreds of families along our coastline and I never tire of it.

When I'm not shooting, I'm usually poring over film scans, haunting op shops for vintage props, or, if we're being honest, very happily doing nothing in particular near the ocean.

I'd love to meet you.

Whether you're planning something specific or just at the beginning of exploring, get in touch. I promise I don't bite, and I reply to every enquiry personally.
